The Royal - Masks: A New Generation Playbook

You are the product of time and effort, born to be better than everyone else. You carry the  expectations of those who came before you on your shoulders however your path has yet to be decided. Will you dance to their tune or show them who you really are?

 The Royal's themes form around the concepts of familial expectations and traditions, individuality and generational drama. The Royal was made to be a hero, in a literal sense. Regardless of how they came to be, they were expected and everyone who had a hand in their creation wants something in return for their dedication and planning. The Royal is always on strings, never a real person of their own while their family has a say in the matter.

The Royal lives in a Gilded Cage, the name of their Extra Mechanic, with rules and protocols they must follow least their Family tighten their hold and interfere. These rules and protocols take the form of discreet questions created during Character Creation that create the boundaries in which their Family expects them to operate. When the Royal does not, they earn Scorn, an extrapolation of their Family's displeasure.

The Royal is inspired by Todoroki Shoto from My Hero Academia, Neiji and Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto, Avatar Korra from Avatar: Legend of Korra and Cassandra Cain from the DC Universe.
