Blasting Off Again!

The Kotatsu Region is in danger and only you, noble souls, are fit and brave enough to save it! What Region lets children wander the highways and byways in the dark of night, armed with Genmon, without supervision? What sort of Region protects the youth from real challenge and adversity, creating Gyms and Journeys even the weak and unscrupulous can pass with ease? The Elite wish to weaken our Region and rule through force, to keep all under a warm blanket of cozy ignorance. But we of Team Chill say RESIST!

Blasting Off Again is a game of heists and schemes that inevitably fall apart around you. Players take on the role of Grunts, the hardworking members of Team Chill as they steal Genmon, take over radio towers and try and complete other villainous schemes for their boss. Inspired by Team Rocket of Pokemon fame, your Grunts are intended to be light heartedly evil, the butt of the joke and charmingly inept at their tasks. The system for Blasting Off Again highlights these faults and foibles through a Complication System which helps Bosses guide the story not by your Grunt's successes but by how their failures snowball out of control.

Blasting Off Again is suited for a table of three to four players, not including the Boss who guides the game.
